Hip Hop Dance Camp
Date: Monday - Friday, July 29 - August 2
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Fee: $20
Come spend a week learning the latest dance moves, meeting new friends, and at the end of the one-week camp, showcase your talents!
Advanced Hip Hop Dance Class
Date: Monday - Friday, July 29 - August 2
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Fee: $20
Must have prior dance experience or prior Hip Hop Camp class attendance.
SUMMER THEME WEEKS
Summer Theme Weeks are from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and are FREE! (Fee required for Soak City excursion)
Teen Summer Olympics Week – June 24 – June 28
Teams will compete all week long in various summer Olympic games with Teen Center staff as their leader! Track and field, boxing, volleyball, table tennis, basketball and much more. The week will end with a softball game and the awarding of the gold, silver and bronze medals!
It’s a Small World After All Week – July 22 – 26
A week full of exploring other countries and their traditions, music, beautiful displays and a special closing event with dinner! Global Peace and Unity is the theme.
Mardi Gras Madness/Amazing Acts Week – July 29 – August 2
A week of theatre arts, skits, poetry, games, and an end-of-the-week talent contest for prizes!
Splash Madness Week – August 12 – 16
Come hang out at the Teen Center and join us for water games all week, contests, super soaker fun, and more. Highlight of the week will be an excursion to Knott’s Soak City.
Knott’s Soak City Excursion
Date: Thursday, August 15
Time: Leaves Teen Center at 9:00 a.m. and returns to Teen Center at 5:00 p.m.
Fee: $30
TOURNAMENTS
3 Point Shoot Out Contest
Date: Tuesday, July 9
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Fee: FREE
Come and “wet” the hoop in the Teen Center 3 Point Shoot Out contest! Each contestant will get 1 minute to shoot as many 3-point shots for a total score. Top winners will receive prizes. Come and get ya hoop on!
Pool Kings Tournament
Date: Wednesday, August 7
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Fee: FREE
The Duarte Teen Center will host other local teen centers in a POOL KINGS Tournament! Come represent the Teen Center with the best hot shots you got! Prizes awarded to the top winners. Contact Teen Center for more information at 303-0863.
