The Traffic and Safety Commission shall make studies and recommendations to the council with respect to all matters pertaining to traffic laws, parking regulations, speed regulations, stop signs, traffic control signals, and other such regulatory matters; shall make recommendations which are not regulatory in nature, such as informative pavement markings, warning signs, crosswalks, school crossings, and other similar matters may be made to the city manager for his approval and action; shall make studies and submit recommendations to the city council on safety from physical hazards, attractive nuisances and other physical conditions while prevention or correction would protect the welfare of the residents of the city.
