Public Safety Notice

Due to budget constraints the City of Duarte’s Public Safety Office will be closed on Friday and Saturday starting on July 1, 2009. Although the Public Safety Office will be closed we will still have Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer’s on duty and the Public Safety Office phones will be forwarded directly to Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer’s that will be in the field.

Our Mission
The mission of the Duarte Public Safety Department is to protect and enhance the quality of life in our community through a comprehensive program of services in both code and law enforcement in order to preserve life, maintain human rights, protect property and promote education. Through prevention, intervention and suppression we promote individual responsibility and community commitment. We recognize that we cannot be successful without the partnership between our department and the diverse community working together toward this common goal.
