National Night Out 2009
On Tuesday, August 4th, 2009, Deputies mingled with residents at Duarte’s 21 National Night Out Celebrations throughout the City.  Over twenty Neighborhood Watch Blocks were represented. The parties ranged from Pool Parties, Block Parties, Pot Lucks, to Ice Cream Socials; residents young and old interacted with all Deputies, Fire Fighters and City Staff, and Government Officials who presented Block Captains with certificates of recognition and a gift from Target.

Duarte Target was a caring sponsor who also sent three wonderful representatives to support our emergency preparedness efforts by raffling Emergency Kits at each party.  This collaborative effort wouldn’t have been possible without our Neighborhood Watch Volunteers, Duarte Target, Performance Nissan, Census 2010, and LA County Fire and the Sheriff Department.

Despite the many special crime operations that took place during NNO week, volunteers were able to carry on their festivities and get their neighbors involved in the City’s National Night Out Celebration.

Thank you Duarte Neighborhood Watch Blocks!
