City Offers Grants for Home Repairs via Lottery
Starting in March, the City of Duarte is offering grants to qualified residents interested in completing eligible exterior improvements to Duarte homes.
Finalists for this application period will be determined via a lottery process. The deadline to submit pre-qualification applications is April 29, 2010.
The Home Improvement Grant program is open to qualifying residents within the incorporated area of Duarte that meet income guidelines and who have never received a prior grant. Improvements that will be considered during the application process include exterior painting, roof replacements, and window replacements. Residents can obtain pre-qualification applications and the “Frequently Asked Questions” handout with complete program details including applicable income guidelines online at www.accessduarte.com or in the Community Development Department located in City Hall.
