Duarte Community Clean-up Day Set for April 24
In the spirit of keeping Duarte beautiful, Duarte Mayor Margaret Finlay invites residents to roll up their sleeves and participate on Saturday, April 24 in the Duarte Community Clean-up Day.
Residents are encouraged to use the day to spruce up their own personal property by taking advantage of the free services provided that day. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Duarteās licensed trash hauler, Burrtec Waste Industries will provide two convenient drop-off locations in the City where residents can dispose of large refuse items. The locations are Duarte City Hall at 1600 Huntington Dr. and the Beardlsee Elementary School Parking lot, 21212 Kelwill Way. Burrtec and City staff will also be on hand to distribute eco-friendly, re-usable shopping bags at the City Hall site.
