Family Events
Family events are a major element that make the City of Duarte a beautiful, vital, and fun place to live. Duarte has an active and diverse population that works with the Parks and Recreation Commission on annual family events and activities in the parks and community facilities including the Teen Center and Senior Center. The City offers a host of enriching special events and activities for residents of all ages, from preschoolers to older adults. Family events are a priority in Duarte with the Summer Concerts in the Park series, Family Swim Days, City Tree Lighting Ceremony, Annual City Anniversary Picnic, Family Recreation Classes and many more.

2013 Summer Concert Series
Come and enjoy a fun night full of live entertainment, dancing, food and games for the whole family. There will be a raffle at every concert hosted by the Rt. 66 Parade Committee.
Concerts will be held on Wednesday nights 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Duarte Park, 1344 Bloomdale Street. Concession stands will open at 6:00 p.m. Remember to bring your lawn chair or a blanket!! The City of Duarte Transit Department will be operating its free transportation after the concerts.
