Commission Opportunity in the City of Duarte



Duarte residents can become involved in the City’s decision making and planning process by serving on the Economic Development Commission. The Economic Development Commission works with staff in developing a comprehensive economic development program aimed at attracting new businesses, retaining existing businesses, and stimulating the expansion of existing businesses within the City of Duarte. Meetings are held the first Wednesdays of even months at 6:30 p.m. This position is a partial term and will expire in December 2011.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Maintain a current residence in the City of Duarte
2. No felony convictions
3. File a City application

Interviews of Commission applicants will be scheduled after the application deadline.
