Nine Candidates Turn in Nomination Papers for Three Duarte City Council Seats
Nine candidates, including three incumbents, have turned in their nomination papers to run for one of three Duarte City Council seats in the November election.
Looking to win another four-year term on the City Council are incumbents Margaret Finlay, Tzeitel Paras-Caracci, and Phil Reyes. Other contenders are JoAnn (J.) Brooks-Washington, an accountant and member of the Economic Development Commission; Arthur L. Moss, a businessman; Liz Reilly, an instructional aide; Tony Sanchez, an industrial sales representative; Margie Wilson-Buchanan, a business advisor; and Rosalie Zesati, a Medi-Cal case manager.
The Duarte Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
