Entrepreneur Lisa Magno to be Honored as “Outstanding Small Businesswoman” at Legislative Women in Business Awards

Local businesswoman and entrepreneur Lisa Magno has been selected as an Honoree for the Tenth Annual Women in Business Awards, presented by California State Assembly Member Anthony Portantino, State Senator Carol Liu and State Assembly Member Paul Krekorian.

Magno will be presented with the Outstanding Small Businesswoman award in honor of “her significant professional accomplishments as well as her outstanding commitment to the community.” Magno is owner of Joe’s Place and Roasty Toasty restaurant establishments in Duarte, and Leven Oaks, an assisted living community in Monrovia.

The Tenth Annual Women in Business Awards will be presented at the Women in Business Legislative Update & Awards Luncheon, Oct. 2, at 11:30 a.m. at the Pasadena Hilton, 168 S. Los Robles Ave. Luncheon tickets are $30.
