Public Invited to City of Hope Community Health Fair Oct. 6th
DUARTE, Calif. – City of Hope will hold its fifth community health fair in collaboration with City of Duarte, the Duarte Chamber of Commerce and LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens). The event is free, open to the public and will feature a variety of exhibits, displays and giveaways for attendees.
Highlights of this year’s fair include demonstrations of the da Vinci surgical robot, an Ask the Pharmacist booth (where attendees can bring a list of their current medications and supplements and inquire about possible interactions and side effects), and complimentary mini-massage sessions.
There will also be information and resources on nutrition, exercise and general well-being provided by numerous health-oriented businesses and organizations, as well as food samples and refreshments from local restaurants.
