John Fasana and Liz Reilly Win Election in Duarte City Council Race

 

DUARTE, CA, November 14, 2011 – Incumbent John Fasana has won re-election to a seventh term on the Duarte City Council while  Liz Reilly, an instructional aide, won over two-term incumbent, Lois Gaston.

Fasana, a project manager for Southern California Edison, who as a Duarte council member has represented 30 San Gabriel Valley cities as a Director to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) since its inception, garnered 1,115 votes. Reilly, the top vote getter on the November 8th ballot, received 1130 votes. Gaston came in third with 1029 votes. Challengers Henry Baltazar received 986 votes and Anil Gunaratne, 387 votes.
