BASICS OF MEDI-CAL

A representative from the Center for Health Care Rights will explain who is eligible for Medi-Cal, and 2012 changes in Medi-Cal affecting seniors.

AARP DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAM (4-hour refresher course)

Date: Thursday, May 17

Time: l:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Duarte Senior Center, in cooperation with AARP, will be offering driver safety classes for persons 55 and older. If you have already taken an 8-hour AARP Driver Safety class in the last 4 years, then you are eligible to take the 4-hour refresher course.

California Law AB2610, which became effective July 1, 1987, required all auto insurance companies to offer a discount on premiums to qualified graduates age 55 and older.
