Duarte Celebrates the Holidays by Giving


Duarte's Promise; The Alliance for Youth, the Duarte Neighborhood Watch Program, along with local churches, businesses, shcools and non-profits are teaming up to ensure a joyous 2016 Holiday season for hundreds of Duarte area families.


The City provides two different, fun-filled and easy ways to give. has helped families for over 30 years. Last year, the Duarte Public Safety partnered with the Community Service Council, the Duarte Emblem Club, and Duarte Elks Club to brighten the lives of over 500 underprivileged youth who received toys and food for the holidays. All new and unwrapped toys can delivered no later than Monday, December 5, 2016 to the Duarte Public Safety Office located at 1042 Huntington Drive.Duarte’s Promise; The Alliance for Youth, the Duarte Neighborhood Watch Program, along with local churches, businesses, schools and non-profits are teaming up to ensure a joyous 2016 Holiday season for hundreds of Duarte area families.


Annually, the “Holiday of Promise” project collects food, personal items and toy donations to help fill holiday baskets for less fortunate families in Duarte and surrounding County area. All donations will be delivered to both the Duarte Community Services Council and the Foothill Unity Center for distribution to families. This year’s program will be from November 17 to December 8th.
