DUARTE AND IRWINDALE INVITE THE COMMUNITY TO JOIN A THIRD MEETING ON HOMELESSNESS, APRIL 18TH AT 5:30 PM
The Cities of Duarte and Irwindale invite residents and business owners of their respective communities to bring forward their concerns and ideas on homelessness during a third outreach workshop on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018. This Discussion on Homelessness will take place at the Duarte Community Center, 1600 Huntington Drive, Duarte. The workshop will begin at 5:30 pm with a light dinner followed by a community discussion from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Thanks to a joint, $60,000 planning grant received by Los Angeles County, the Cities of Duarte and Irwindale, together, are developing a long-term strategy to address homelessness issues in our areas. Ideas presented by the participants will be a guide to comprehensively and effectively address homelessness in both communities.
