The Richman Group plans to begin construction in the coming weeks on its new project, The Huntington, on the north side of Huntington Drive just west of Cotter Avenue. The Huntington is a mixed-use project with 161 luxury apartments, 7,375 square feet of commercial and live work space. The development area includes vacant property, formerly owned by the City, and the former Romo Auto Repair.
The Huntington will be the first major project constructed in the Town Center Specific Plan area. The award-winning plan is intended to transform the center core of the city in a vibrant city center.
The project will provide residential units ranging from 640 square foot studio apartments to 1,250 square foot two bedroom units and will have several resident amenities such as a pool, fitness center, meeting room, secure parking and ample outdoor space. A public art piece and a new traffic signal at Huntington Drive and Brycedale Avenue will also be a part of the project.
The Richman Group is one of the largest apartment owners in the United States and has recently completed projects in Cerritos and San Diego. The company’s website provides information about the company and a project website is coming soon (www.therichmangroup.com).
