The Duarte Senior Center is located at 1610 Huntington Drive. It is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to all residents 55 years and older. The phone number is (626) 357-3513.
Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Duarte Senior Center closed in March and will remain closed until further notice.
The City of Duarte is absorbing all transaction fees charged by ActiveNet. Customer cancellations/refunds are subject to approval. Any cancellations/refunds will incur a 6% transaction fee. Activities/events cancelled by the "City" will not incur a transaction fee.
The Senior Center serves hot lunches Monday through Friday to individuals over 60 years, or the spouse of someone over age 60, and must check in by 11:45 a.m. for lunch. Reservations are requested by calling 357-3513, 24 hours in advance, and 48 hours, in advance, for a choice day. The suggested donation is $3. Note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Duarte Senior Center has transitioned to a frozen meal pick up on Tuesdays from 11:00 to 11:45 am. The program has reached maximum capacity and the Duarte Senior Center can not add any more participants. If you are interested in being placed on a waiting list for the frozen meals please call Intervale Senior Services at (626) 214-9443.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank will be held on 4th Thursday of the month (November and December will be the 3rd Thursday of the month due to the holidays) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Duarte Senior Center parking lot. It is currently a drive thru program. Please wear your masks and remember to keep 6ft social distance. Safe return is a service of the Alzheimer's Association to help identify, locate and return Alzheimer's victims who wander and become lost. The one time registration includes identification items, preventative information, membership in the Alzheimer's Association, and participation in a nationwide search system.

Eligible seniors can receive a hot lunch and cold dinner plate delivered each weekday, or seven frozen meals delivered once a week by YWCA Intervale Senior Services. For more information, please contact the Senior Center at 357-3513 or Intervale at (626) 214-9465.
